Bond Street is a well reputed international cigarette manufacturing company. However, it is not a company from the United States. Now its cigarettes are being sold in more than 50 countries around the world. It is manufactured by Philip Morris International.
The company has a brief interesting history, where it was made by one Mr. Philip Morris, the founder of the company, who had a reputed boutique on Bond Street, London. It was found in the year 1902 and was earlier named as "Old Bond Street". The brand became very famous all over the European continent with many a number of satisfied customers.
King Albert of Belgium was one of its greatest admirers, who even titled the boutique as the Royal Tobacconist. Soon, the brand became famous all over the world and was a big hit, in new markets. But later the name was changed from "Old Bond Street" to "Bond Street". In Mid nineties, it was rebranded. But then also it was prominent in markets. It became a big hit in the markets. By the year 2006, they launched a "premium" brand called "Bond Street Special". However, it is ironic to say that this particular brand of cigarette is not popularly available in the United Kingdom now, and this fact seems to be strange.
Presently, it is available in a number of flavors, like Filter in Red, Lights in Blue and Super Lights in White. Apart from these, there are yet three more flavors available in the market worldwide from " Bond Street Special", say Rich (filters), Mild (lights) and Fine (super lights). People know that cigarette smoking is injurious to health. Then also reputed companies like "Bond Street", are grabbing a large part of cigarette market! It is having an enormous number of satisfied customers all over the world now. The company is keen on producing high quality cigarettes in different flavors which can attract people, and thus "Bond Street" has become a familiar name among smokers all over the world, provided the fact that cigarette smoking is injurious to health!
